Years in industry, after I left teaching engineering at Iowa State University, required lots of travel and lots of meals away from home. I traveled to England, Germany, France, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Mexico, Japan, Korea, and on one trip, I flew around the world, crossing the Great Soviet Union after flying over Finland, and then dropping down into Japan.
